The Grand Hotel Wien celebrates four toques

gault-millau-logoThe restaurants of the Grand Hotel Wien, Le Ciel and Unkai, were ranked among best restaurants in Austria by the famous gourmet guide Gault Millau. The culinary figureheads of the Hotel were each awarded with two toques.

The Unkai with chef Hiroshi Sakai with 15 points and two toques confirms its position as the best and most authentic Japanese restaurant in Austria. "Unkai" means "sea of clouds": The name refers to the location on the 7th floor of the Grand Hotel Wien with an wonderful view over the roofs of the inner city.
