Roland Huber is number 11 of "Austria´s 50 Best Chefs"

In this year’s insider guide for the Austrian top gastronomy, organised by Rolling Pin magazine, Roland Huber, head chef of Le Ciel restaurant, was ranked number 11.

AUSTRIA’S 50 BEST CHEFS is the biggest and hardest award for Austria´s top head chefs. First, over 12.800 employees coming from the Austrian gastronomy nominated the best cooks in two stages. Then started the voting process for the 50 head chefs, which were nominated most.

The very election for this list is one of the highest awards in Austria. This list is the ultimate insider guide for national and international foodies and gourmets, who are always looking for outstanding restaurants and like to rely on the rating of thousands of people coming from the gastronomy.

Roland Huber, head chef of “Le Ciel by Toni Mörwald“ restaurant, decorated with one Michelin star and three toques by Gault Millau, made it to number 11. He outperformed even other two and three Michelin star chefs.

„This is a great recognition for me and the whole team“, said Roland Huber after the award, which took place at the CHEFDAYS Austria in Graz.

„We are very proud of Roland Huber and his team. They really deserve this award. It is amazing to watch them on their way to the very top!“ said Horst Mayer, General Manager of the Grand Hotel Wien.
