Grand Hotel Wien to create its own sparkling wine

The Grand Hotel Wien, which has been recognized as a top apprentice-training firm from the city of Vienna, is a nationwide guarantor of first class education for trainees. Now these apprentices have received the opportunity to significantly contribute to the production of the Grand Hotel’s first own sparkling wine. In cooperation with the renowned winery Szigeti in Gols, Burgenland, the trainees will participate in the development of the Edition Grand Hotel Wien.

“We are very pleased to offer our trainees such an innovative and exciting project. It is my personal goal and commitment, that each individual who completed his or her apprenticeship in the Grand Hotel Wien should enter the job market with excellent prerequisites.”, explains Horst Mayer, managing director of the hotel.

In line with the cooperation the apprentices will participate in the production for a time period of one year. The sparkling end product will be available for purchase at the Grand Hotel Wien, with its own label, starting June 2017.
